Saya Rindu...

While listening to the traffic report and the DJs at Hotfm online...tetiber satu perasaan rindu yang amat sangat datang dalam diri saya...

Saya rindu mama saya...saya terlepas peluang jaga dia sebab dia tengah sakit...

Saya rindu kakak and adik saya sebab saya slalu buli kakak saya buat air nescafe sambil hentak2 kaki and kuar naik keta ngan adik saya ronda2 sebab dia suka bawak keta...

Saya rindu anak-anak buah saya...Haikal, Ummi, Akeem and Ayith...masing-masing ada pe'el sendiri...ada anak buah baru nama Zafri tapi saya tak sempat tengok dia lahir...tengok gambar jer...

Saya rindu nak tengok TV...cerekarama...segala drama2...slalu konon-konon nak follow drama kat slot Samarinda or apa-apa drama bersiri tapi slalu tengok 1st or 2nd episode jer pastu dah tak berapa nak follow sebab slalu berebut remote ngan hubby... 

Saya rindu One Utama...KLCC...Uptown Damansara...

Saya rindu nak tengok wayang di hujung minggu sambil makan caramel popcorn and coke...

Saya rindu nak makan ikan bakar kat Restoran Ikan Bakar Maju kat TTDI Jaya setiap Sabtu and kat Tangling kalo time keja...nak makan Bawal Power kat Kota Damansara...laksa...bihun sup...kepok lekor...goreng pisang...kari ikan kat Uptown Damansara...slalu cakap ngan aunty tu "auntyyyy...nak mata ikan yang besar-besar tau..." 

Saya rindu kawan-kawan saya...Syelly...Ash...Fara Fazira...Ajune...Apin...Helmi...nak goss ngan Jue...

Saya rindu nak tengok Melodi...Fuhhh...Muzik-Muzik...

Saya rindu rumah saya...tiap-tiap Sabtu hari kemas rumah and masak untuk hubby sambil tengok cerekarama...

Saya rindu Hipopo dan Pora saya...

Iskiskisk...saya rindu sangattttt...

Makan oh Makan...

Makan untuk hidup or hidup untuk makan? Well...both for me...sebab? I eat to gain energy (besides gaining weight, actually...hehehe...) and nutrition for me to move on with life activities and I live to enjoy food as well, right? So, it appears to benefit me both ways...

Since I moved to Frankfurt, ye lah kata orang, sebagai seorang Muslim, makanan di negara luar especially bukan negara Islam, akan menjadi satu cabaran as we feel difficult to find halal food. So, before ordering or buying something to eat, I have to really careful on the ingredients or what mentioned in the menu...Jadi, pilihan adalah amat terhad...itu lah hakikatnya and it seems that I am totally ok with it...tapi di sini, ada banyak Turkish restaurants...and they offer halal food...ada jugak fish restaurants...so, tidak menjadi masalah tapi kena control la sikit...at the end of the day, it's better to cook at home...kan? Hmmm...I really miss my mom's cooking: nasi ayam...ayam masak hitam...gulai ikan nyoq2...everything...

So...these are amongst my lunch menu besides Maggi bila berada di perantauan...hehehe...

Lama Nyerrr...

Ya ampunnn...lama nyerrr saya tak citer apa-apa kat blog saya ni...people must have been wondering why the hell Maleen is not writing now and where is she...sorry ya for not updating what's happening lately...my last journal was around in May and that is quite a long time ya...4 months ago...lama nyerrr...actually, I am no longer in Malaysia...hehehe...I am now reside and working in Frankfurt, Germany...but that will be only temporary for 4 years insyaAllah...kalau diizinkan olehNya untuk saya terus bekerja di sini sepertimana tempoh yang ditetapkan lah...

Anyway, i received the transfer note about last year in 2010 but it was yet to be confirmed on the destination and time to go until few months before 2010 left us, i got to know the tentative details...but of course...seperti statement artis2...takut nak buat apa-apa announcement...satu, takut orang cakap saya nak berlagak and keduanya, takut benda tak jadik, malu jer announce bagai nak rak...so it's better to keep to ourselves first...

Then, i got the temporary visa for 3 months on 30 June 2011 and a week after that, me and hubby were off to Frankfurt...sangat kelam kabut and bz arranging to pack everything especially food stuff and documentation and that's why i didn't have enough time to at least inform my friends either in social network page or blog...and last Monday, we managed to get the working visa and residence permit for 4 years...after long and tiring procedures...goshhh...

So, from now on, I will try my best to share stories from here...my experiences...the journey...the people...places, food...everything...

Yummy-licious Sundae on Sunday

Yeayyy!!! it's movie time again and we are going to see Captain Jack Sparrow...and of course at Sunway Pyramid...so, while waiting for our date, let's have something nice and icy to give some sweet cool mood before we meet him...it's Baskin Robbins double scoop sundae: very berry strawberry + caramel turtle truffle with strawberry shake...what a yummy-licious sundae on Sunday...

Asam Pedas @ Bukit Jelutong

Errrr...aku macam suka sangat tulis pasal food kan? Ye lah...sebab kita makan lagi kerap daripada kita tukar baju...and bagi yang slalu bz dengan keja or aktiviti2 bebas, mesti slalu jugak lepak makan kat luar...lagipun, sharing is caring...so kalo sedap kita bagitau...kalo tak best pon kita bagitau...apa-apa pon terpulang pada selera sendiri...lain tekak lain rasa nyer yer tak?

Aku ni keja...so kalo weekdays memang konfem tak masak lah sebab sampai umah pon paling awal kul 7 petang or paling lambat kul 9 malam...penat la nak masak...baik singgah makan jer...by the time sampai umah, rest and tengok tv ajer...

Anyway, last Friday, aku pusing2 kat Bukit Jelutong carik restoran mana yang tak penah aku try makan lagi...so dah banyak sangat pusing, we decided to makan kat Asam Pedas...dari luar restoran ni nampak biasa ajer tapi nak jugak cuba...

By the time we arrived and duduk, we waited for lie 5 minutes for them to notice us...so we were like kalau 5 minit lagi korang tak sampai ambik order, we blah ler...so finally nampak jugak kelibat kitaorang duduk kat meja...we ordered mee kari, mee goreng mamak, ais kacang and cucur udang...hmmm...servis sangat lambat...nak kata orang ramai, aku tengok ada satu meja jer yang occupied selain we all...itu pon rasanya diaorang dah lepak lama...ok fine...we all pasrah jer...then bila food sampai...we all pon start la makan...cett...rasa tak best langsung...mee goreng mamak tu masin + hitam...too many black pepper...mee kari lak nampak best tapi taste wise...sangat average...the worst part was their ABC...pucat lesu...dull...tak der mender except for kacang, kacang merah and jagung...rasanyer pon macam ais cicah sirap jer...bila time nak bayar...mak aiiii mahal lak rasanya...paling mahal mee goreng mamak tu lah...RM 6.50 beb...lagi mahal daripada mee kari...yang boleh aku puji was cucur udang dia la...goreng time2 tu jugak...so stil panas...crispy...yang tu jer lah yang aku puas hati pon...

Anyway, that will be our first and last visit to Asam Pedas lah...yang kat Bukit Jelutong tu la...hehehe...tapi kalo ada orang yang nak try, silakannnn...
