Yeayyy!!! it's movie time again and we are going to see Captain Jack Sparrow...and of course at Sunway Pyramid...so, while waiting for our date, let's have something nice and icy to give some sweet cool mood before we meet him...it's Baskin Robbins double scoop sundae: very berry strawberry + caramel turtle truffle with strawberry shake...what a yummy-licious sundae on Sunday...

Asam Pedas @ Bukit Jelutong

Errrr...aku macam suka sangat tulis pasal food kan? Ye lah...sebab kita makan lagi kerap daripada kita tukar baju...and bagi yang slalu bz dengan keja or aktiviti2 bebas, mesti slalu jugak lepak makan kat luar...lagipun, sharing is caring...so kalo sedap kita bagitau...kalo tak best pon kita bagitau...apa-apa pon terpulang pada selera sendiri...lain tekak lain rasa nyer yer tak?

Aku ni keja...so kalo weekdays memang konfem tak masak lah sebab sampai umah pon paling awal kul 7 petang or paling lambat kul 9 malam...penat la nak masak...baik singgah makan jer...by the time sampai umah, rest and tengok tv ajer...

Anyway, last Friday, aku pusing2 kat Bukit Jelutong carik restoran mana yang tak penah aku try makan lagi...so dah banyak sangat pusing, we decided to makan kat Asam Pedas...dari luar restoran ni nampak biasa ajer tapi nak jugak cuba...

By the time we arrived and duduk, we waited for lie 5 minutes for them to notice us...so we were like kalau 5 minit lagi korang tak sampai ambik order, we blah ler...so finally nampak jugak kelibat kitaorang duduk kat meja...we ordered mee kari, mee goreng mamak, ais kacang and cucur udang...hmmm...servis sangat lambat...nak kata orang ramai, aku tengok ada satu meja jer yang occupied selain we all...itu pon rasanya diaorang dah lepak lama...ok fine...we all pasrah jer...then bila food sampai...we all pon start la makan...cett...rasa tak best langsung...mee goreng mamak tu masin + hitam...too many black pepper...mee kari lak nampak best tapi taste wise...sangat average...the worst part was their ABC...pucat lesu...dull...tak der mender except for kacang, kacang merah and jagung...rasanyer pon macam ais cicah sirap jer...bila time nak bayar...mak aiiii mahal lak rasanya...paling mahal mee goreng mamak tu lah...RM 6.50 beb...lagi mahal daripada mee kari...yang boleh aku puji was cucur udang dia la...goreng time2 tu jugak...so stil panas...crispy...yang tu jer lah yang aku puas hati pon...

Anyway, that will be our first and last visit to Asam Pedas lah...yang kat Bukit Jelutong tu la...hehehe...tapi kalo ada orang yang nak try, silakannnn...

Otak Otak Place

We were trapped in a long traffic jam this evening from work to home. So we decided to have dinner somewhere so that once we've done with it, the jam probably cleared a bit...but...hampehhhh...from 6 pm + dinner...we only managed to arrive home at 9.30 pm...haiyaaa...KL ni kalo dah ujan + the next day cuti...gini lah jam nyer...very bad and always be...unless cuti sekolah...memang senang hati time tu...

Anyway, back to our dinner tale just now...we all ternampak Tropicana City Mall along the way...never been there actually. So we wanted to see what's inside...parking space quite ok...shop lots pon not bad la...tapi tak la banyak popular boutique...just average...yang aku ingat ada Borders, Esprit, The Face Shop, Guitar shop and a few food outlets like Nando's, Kenny Rogers, Starbucks, Taiwan Street and many more. We browsed at each of them trying to look at what we've never experience...malas nak pikir panjang takut nanti gaduh lak (pasal nak pilih tempat makan pon kadang2 jadik isu tau) so we decided to try OTAK OTAK PLACE: food & memories you...well, these are some of my thought based on what we saw and tasted:

AMBIANCE: hmmm...classic with all old deco stuff...you can see old bicycle, square suitcase, etc. and with old classic songs...Malay, Chinese & Indian...very 1Malaysia...

FOOD we ordered: toasted bread with milk...not bad tapi tak leh lawan Pappa Rich's...nasik ayam...tasted very mild...biasa ajer...char keow teow...very2 mild...very average...they should have put kerang instead of ayam as char keow teow always blend well with seafood...I could only find small udang like 2 ekor jer...rupa dia pon nampak sangat pucat and dull...honey lemon...biasa jer and ABC special with ice cream...sedap tu memang sedap tapi bahan tak banyak...overall, for me, the food at Otak Otak Place is average...nothing extraordinary taste they have...maybe otak-otak diaorang sedap kot tapi we didn't order that...not my favourite...maklumlah saya bukan orang Johor...maybe otak-otak is their signature dish kena dengan nama kedai tu...tapi kalau nak singgah makan lagi for second time...maybe not...unless we have no choice...

So...apa-apa pun, perut pon dah kenyang...esok cuti...time untuk chill and relax...

Monday Blues...

I wonder why does people always relate Monday to the blues? Blame it on the weekends? Yeahhh...that's the permanent and classic reason about it, I guess...at least we always think that way...but, don't you think Monday should be treated as hip-hop rather than blues as we had already refreshed after two-days break? Or we need a long gear-one after parked for days before we go for gear-five in the middle of the week? Well, if we think Monday blues, we'll act Monday blues...since tomorrow will be Malaysia's public holiday for Wesak day, we again get to rest for another one day and should Wednesday be another blues...well it depends...so happy holiday to all...enjoy the break...and do something great k...

Pizza San Francisco

We had a quite early dinner this evening...sejak awal petang we were wondering what to eat for dinner as we wanted to reduce our rice intake...hehehe...konon nak diet kan...tekak tetiber jadik tak lalu nak makan nasik...so as we approached tol Bukit Jelutong, we decided (my decision, actually...hehehe) to have dinner at Bukit Jelutong...nak makan western katanyer...so we went to Pizza San Francisco...next to Petronas station...biasala perut tengah lapar macam2 nak makan...so hubby ordered fish & chips while for me...errr...mushroom soup and garlic bread for starter (kelasss...siap ada starter lagi) and a regular sized pizza...ntah aper nama nyer but it started with c...sangat susah lidah Melayu nak menyebut nyer...with beef pepperoni, mushroom, cheese and the best part was...ada cili padi...terbakar lidah aku makan...

Anyway, the food was not that bad...all i could say...they were average but i enjoyed the ambience...very shady...cool and tak crowded...so you can actually enjoy your food while reading, chatting with friends or even with your loved ones...staff dia pun quite ok...not to say excellent but at least they were not rude when i was there...i was not offended...

Anyone yang nak try the food or need some personal space, you can go to San Francisco Bukit Jelutong which is next to Petronas station...but my experience could be different from others, this is only my personal view...

Jerebu...oh...Jerebu

Now...these are the views from my work place. Time check: 1 minute to 5.15 pm and it should be clear hot weather. Normally, aku boleh nampak barisan gunung2 bukit2 Banjaran Titiwangsa sebab kat situ lah aku selalu melepaskan segala perasaan tensi dan tekanan work load yang berserabut dalam otak...but not today...jelas ini lah jerebu yang mengakibatkan orang sakit...sakit badan dan sakit mata memandang...in fact, me myself is now suffering from flu and sore throat...badan jadik lesu...mata jadik sakit nak bukak luas2 pedih...so to all my friends out there, dalam masa kita dilanda jerebu ni, please stay in the house...reduce your outdoor activities...pakai mask...minum air kosong banyak2...take care of yourself...this jerebu can be small thing but it can cause you hugggeeee problems...

It's d trend now...be it a birthday party, any party indeed...wedding gift, tea time...just anything...everyone is soooo for d cup cake...well, count me in too...

There's a lot of cup cake business out there...stores...kiosk...on-line...good things for the housewives and baking-lover...and cup cake enthusiasts too...

But people, just be careful on the sugar intake ya...we can eat cup cake as many as we want but not too many...just be a cup cake lover, not a cup cake lover and a diabetic...and yes, don't forget to brush your teeth after taking the sweet thing and drink a lot of water...

Anyway, this is my favourite from Chic Cup Cake...not that many option we have from them but just niceeee...well, you should try them...

Morning everyone...time check: 10.45 am...me n hubby are entertaining ourselves with movie today at Sunway Pyramid...it's going to be THOR today...yeayyy...our last movie seen was Merong Mahawangsa I guess...but before entertaining ourselves completely, we have to make our cute tummy happy first...so here we are...it's not at Tiffany...but at Pappa Rich...yesss...we are making Pappa to be rich n richer...hehehe...n yes Breakfast at Tiffany is one of my fav song...so it's roti bakar susu (milky toasted bread?), half-boiled egg, lemon with honey n iced milo...bon appetite everyone...ciao2...

mama

tetiber aku teringat mama aku kat kampung...sian dia sorang2...kat kampung, abang, kakak and adik aku ada dekat2 umah dia tapi hakikatnya dia still sorang2...ye lah masing2 dah ada family...they will not be with her all the times...kakak aku lah yang paling kerap jenguk and teman dia...tq kak...sejak arwah abah takder since 2007, mama memang sorang2...kadang2 she will come and stay with me tapi paling lama pun 3 bulan...bila mama ngan aku, aku akan jadik lagik berat sebab hari2 mama masak and akan tunggu untuk dinner ngan aku walaupun aku balik keja kul 10 malam...tapi keadaan jadik sedih, bila mama sakit...she was detected to have cervical cancer early stage last year...sedih memang sedih tapi itulah ujian Allah Taala pada mama...tapi aku tengok mama cukup kuat...tak tunjuk sakit dia kat anak2...mula2 mama buat treatment kat hospital di kampung tapi kekerapan dia kena berulang-alik to hospital and dengan dia takder lesen nk drive ke sana sini menambahkan lagi kepayahan dia...so i suggested to her to divert to HKL sebab sangat dekat ngan opis aku...itu jer yang aku mampu buat...at least aku leh jugak kejap2 lari gi hantar dia...lagipun, dia memang terer skit naik komuter and cab...kat HKL, dia buat radio therapy...warded for a month plus...sian tengok dia sakit...so petang2 lepas working hours aku akan teman dia kat hospital sampai waktu melawat habis...sian mama...alhamdulillah lepas treatment tu, after a few follow ups, everything went well for her until recently, dia kena buat test lagi sebab doctor detected some spot...sian dia kena warded kat hospital kat kampung and transferred to Penang GH the next morning by ambulance for one day test...kata mama, takder orang nak hantar dia terus ke Penang so dia kena warded dulu and guna ambulance gi Penang...until now, mama lom cakap apa2 result lagi...Ya Allah Ya Tuhanku...kurniakanlah segala kebaikan dan kesihatan yang sempurna buat mama...kuatkanlah semangat mama...

Sempena Hari Ibu esok, this is for my mama..."mama, tq for everything...tq for all the patience in raising me and the rest...ampunkan dosa-dosa kami...halalkan makan minum kami...halalkan air susu yang diberikan kepada kami...we love you...and will always be...semoga Allah Taala membalas segala jasa-jasa baik mama pada kami...semoga mama panjang umur untuk terus berada bersama kami...semoga mama sihat dan kuat...kami sayang mama...aminnnn..."

So to mama, my mother in-law and to all mothers in the world...Happy Mama's Day...

Artis...Hot...Sexy...

hahahaha...eh belum apa2 lagi aku dah gelak? ahaks...anyway, just to share one funny, hilarious story which happened to me this afternoon...but before that, bukanlah nak mengaibkan sesiapa tapi lebih kepada pesanan untuk lebih berhati-hati ketika bercakap...

ok, tadi aku gi buat hair treatment kat my favorite salon, NEWS kat The Mall. Hot Girl (bukan nama sebenar...hehehehe...beb, i couldn't expose your name...it's because i like you), stylist kat situ sangat la best...very open-minded and the service is not bad...so saper2 yang kebetulan kat The Mall and teringin nak rambut kelihatan cantik beralun, sila lah gi kat NEWS tu...small salon with 3 staffs tapi they are very friendly cuma yang paling junior tu agak pendiam sikit but she's not bad...

anyway, back to the story-sharing...time aku nak masuk salon tu, it happened to be ada 2 orang perempuan which i believe they are colleagues based on what they were telling each other yang sederet kedai kat situ leh dengar...they were laughing out loud and yes, they sounded very annoying especially when they saw the good job that Hot Girl did for their hair...

1st girl: she is chubby...bila dah tengok rambut dia yang Hot Girl dah blow baikkk punya...she said 'hmmm...sexy nyer i...mesti laki i suker tgk ni...u know what...semlm i pakai baju yang sexy nampak2 skit...so blablabla...'...i was like...'errrr...obviously you are not sexy...why must you tell the whole world that you are sexy...artis pon tak penah ngaku diri sendiri sexy k...'

2nd girl: kurus...rambut ketak2 ala2 kena rebonding gitu...she was worst and for me she's rude tho' she might be trying to be frank...seperti biasa after rambut ketak2 dia diblow dengan gigihnyer oleh Hot Girl...she said 'eeee cantiknyer...i suker keja you...i jadik HOT...lepas ni bila i jalan, i akan tengok setiap building sebab i nak tengok kat cermin...sangat HOT ok...macam artis...kalau macam ni, baik aku jadi artis...' and i was again like...'errr...artis? oh Godddd...berbulu aih aku dengar'...and then when Hot Girl put some serum to her hair, tak aku sangka dia leh kuar statement 'haaa...ni baru wangi skit...shampoo you wangi tapi conditioner you busuk...' yukksss...what on earth was she trying to say? why must she be so rude? siap buat memek muka ni...maklum la nak jadik artisssss...

so, what i am trying to say is...you can be outspoken...you can show-off but do it politely...please respect perasaan orang...and please look around should your words might hurt others...everyone of us is not perfect, please be more diplomatic...jangan la main cakap jer...maner la tau sebenarnyer rambut dia yang busuk bukan conditioner tu...

apa-apa pun, yang buruk itu adalah dari kita and yang baik itu adalah dari Allah Taala...sama-sama kita buat pengajaran...

Wowwwww...PINKKKKK!!! It's my blog...she got a new look...sangat kena ok gambar hiasan ngan tagline tu...ngan kasut yang banyak, handbag...travel2...it's really me...ini semua keja laki aku...dia memang sangat suka tulis blog...buat blog untuk orang...'re-brand' blog sedia ada yang kadang-kadang geram aku sebab balik umah jer, dia akan asyik ngadap komputer tapi dalam diam2 best jugak sebab aku ada complete control over the tv remote  (well, good in other way around too...hehehehe...)...termasuklah blog saya ni, dia lah yang buatkan...tq yer...tapi from this new look of my blog, he really understands me...especially bab2 kasut and handbag...though my collection tak lah banyak and tak lah se-branded orang lain tapi yang pasti everytime aku beli benda baru ayat dia akan bunyi macam ni...'yang...yang dah dok ada dalam almari tu pon tak terpakai'...pas2 aku akan jawab 'laaaa yang tu kaler lain...kaler ni design ni takder lagi'...hehehe...so dia akan geleng kepala pas2 dia akan cakap 'hishhhh x paham aku'...hehehe...memang dia tak akan paham nyer lah thrill membeli ni...hanya pompuan yang akan pahammmm...so now aku dah ader taktik baru...hik...hanya aku jer yang tau camner nak invisible-kan benda baru yang aku beli...hehehe...
